Bad Habit Beauty & Face Candy Eyeshadow Palette Swatches!

So I was recently lucky enough to be sent a selection of eyeshadow palettes by the lovely team at shop hush. These palettes instantly took my fancy because of the obvious dupes for higher end products, combined with their impressively low price tags.

First Up is the Royals palette. This palette bears a remarkable resemblance to Anastasia's modern renaissance. The colours swatches beautifully, a few of the darker mattes were a little chalky, but nothing that would impact application too badly, aside from some potential fall out.

The retro love palette is like the subculture palette without the crazy quality control issues. Again a few of the darker shades were patchy, but workable, certainly more so than the original subculture palette.

The sugar palette is created by the brand face candy, and I found the quality on this to be lesser then that of the bad habit beauty palettes. When I was taking the watch photos, several of the shadows sealed when I swatched them which I found unusual and annoying. The lighter colours especially also lacked the pigmentation present in the other palettes.

Finally the Aphrodite palette (likened to the Huda beauty desert dusk palette) was by far my favourite. The foiled shadows are stunning on the eye, though a little hard to work with, and are best paired with a tacky base. The colours are warm and right up my alley, and jam packed with pigmentation.

All the above swatches were taken in natural light, with no flash or editing - pretty impressive! Overall the cost/quality ratio is superb in my opinion, and the brands are accessible thanks to global shipping available on shop hush.
