Trentham Falls

After seeing  post online recently about the top 10 waterfalls to see in Victoria; my best friend and I have taken it upon ourselves to visit them and decide on the best of the best.

Yesterday we headed up to Trentham Falls, which is one of the longest single drop waterfalls in the state (over 32 mts high!) The falls themselves can be divided into the upper and lower sectors, the upper being a series of springs which feed into the basalt columns and into the pool below.  The upper pools also feature a 'mini waterfall' which is a ledge of sorts which  can be accessed via a few rock steps, however this area is covered by moss and can be extremely slippery!

Social Media Is a LIE (my take on the Essena O'neil Movement)

If you've been living under a rock the past week then you may be unaware that blogger/model/youtuber Essena Oneill has quit the internet. I thought this would be an appropriate introductory post to my new blog, as someone who does work in social media and is continuing to expand into new platforms.

Loving Lace

Spring is here and I am beyond ready to shed the million layers that I've been wearing for the past few months.  Though Melbourne is living up to it's notoriously inconsistent weather the occasional bursts of sunshine are more then enough to convince me it's time for summer fashion.

As a result I've been foregoing coats and making way for lighter fabrics, chiffon, crepe and most recently lace!
I love the sense of femininity and sensuality that comes with wearing lace, intricate and makes me feel beautiful.

I had the chance to wear some beautiful pieces on a recent shoot, and I've included some of the images here.
You'd never believe that this lush beautiful location was a corner of greenery in the middle of the outback!

While white lace has a distinct sense of femininity, bolder colours like reds and blacks are equally stunning.

For more pictures from the shoot head on over to my instagram @jessicaricci to check them out x J
